It is February
mid February
and today I saw:
bees flocking around our koukia, and
a wild almond tree in Mathes dressed in a cluster of pink blossom

And today I saw a solitary bee round our daphne odorata, which is in full bloom (it's winter flowering) and beautifully perfumed.
